Our Team
Kristen Lewis
Kristen grew up in Michigan but moved to California for law school at UCLA. She fell in love with the west coast and never looked back. Oregon has been home since 2020 and she is still marveling at its natural beauty. She is the mother of two teenagers and has been advocating for their special educational needs since they were toddlers. Kristen’s legal roots are in dependency law where she represented children who had experienced abuse and neglect. Prior to starting Havensight, Kristen was the program and legal director for a Portland based non-profit focusing on advocacy for youth involved in the foster care system. Her greatest strength as an attorney is her ability to get to know her clients, deeply empathize with their circumstances, and tailor her representation to their unique needs.
Kristen loves spending time with her husband and children, especially when it involves traveling to new places. She never misses an opportunity to walk outside and in any spare time has a book either in her hand or playing on her phone.
Kristen is licensed in Oregon, Washington and California.

Amy Dorlon
Amy has lived in Oregon for several years having moved there after completing her degree in Geological Sciences. Amy is married with one son and two stepdaughters, all of whom have different strengths, abilities, and needs. Amy started advocating for her son early on by navigating through various systems of medical care and continued advocating for him when he started kindergarten in the public school system. These experiences, including advocating for his education services, helped prepare her for her current job position of special education advocate. Amy enjoys meeting with her clients and supporting them through the process of navigating their child’s needs within the school system. She recognizes that raising neurodivergent children comes with many blessings and challenges and she strives to help clients discover what works for their families and children. Amy and her family love animals – they have cats, a bird, guinea pigs, a snake, fish and snails. Their dog has taken up residence with grandparents as he prefers retirees and supports their current fitness regimen. Amy enjoys reading, listening to music, and has been known to take detours on road trips in search of an outcrop or a waterfall.
